Our story
Why the GPA was founded.
Padel has exploded across India, growing from under 1,000 players in 2022 to over 100,000 today. Gujarat, with its high-density club culture and entrepreneurial energy, is one of the fastest-adopting states in the country.
What was missing was structure: a single, credible body to organize the sport, recognize venues, and give players a real pathway to compete. That's why the Gujarat Padel Association was founded, a community-driven, culturally-rooted organization built by players, for players.
A Gujarat where every serious padel player has a ranking to chase, every venue has a standard to meet, and every city, from Vadodara to Rajkot, has a thriving padel community.
